Dr. Byman has been a veterinarian at North Rockland Animal Hospital since 1994. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1984 and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1989. He currently lives in Garnerville with his wife Teresa and his three children. Dr. Byman’s pets include a hound mix named Ginger and two cats named Whiskas and Rex. His outside interests include working out, parenting, and reading. Loving the outdoors so much, he recently became a happy and proud owner of a beautiful Harley Davidson. Now a member of the Hudson Valley Riders Club, he can’t wait to get out and ride for fun and for charity in the future. Dr. Byman attends bimonthly continuing education meetings and enjoys learning about the advances in veterinary medicine and surgery. He really enjoys the challenge of the family dynamic of integrating pets into our daily lives. The world of veterinary medicine is changing as most things are these days and with his drive to constantly grow, challenge himself and other veterinarians, Dr. Byman is striving to provide the best care possible for our patients and their owners!
